Intro to Shana Harris: 
Shana Harris is an elementary educator/rockstar who has bee with CPS, Chicago public schools for 15 years. Shana’s education journey and journey within the field of education has taken her from UW Madison, the TRIP -Teaching Residency Internship Program- in Chicago, Kindergarten classroom teacher, first grade classroom teacher for 10 years, and prek for 5 years. Shana also served on her schools ILT for 12 years as well as the Network 11 ‘E11evator’ acting as a liaison between the Network and schools- presenting Literacy PD for other first grade teachers. Shana has also served as a consulting educator in which she was provided a substitute for her classroom while she traveled to other schools to work with educators on their own professional learning plans. To top it off, Shana received a Masters in Reading Instruction through Concordia as well as her ELL certification
